We provide a comprehensive range of imaging and procedural services including MRI, PET/CT, CT, SPECT/CT, breast imaging, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, BMD, dental imaging, and general x-ray.

About This Opportunity

With continued growth in our imaging services, we are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our on-site team at Noosa. This is a unique opportunity to work in a highly specialised, technology-driven environment, collaborating closely with radiologists, referrers, and multidisciplinary clinical teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

The Nurse Practitioner will play a key role in supporting interventional and diagnostic services, enhancing patient flow, and contributing to clinical excellence across our practice.

Responsibilities include:

  • Consults and tele consults prior to examinations and procedures

  • Support interventional radiology procedures, including pre- and post-procedure care

  • Patient support in recovery post procedures

  • Administration of IV medication

  • Cannulation and ultrasound guided cannulation

  • Patient monitoring post scans/procedures.

  • Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and policy development

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance with regulatory standards

About You

  • Endorsed Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA (essential)

  • Up to date cannulation certificate

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner (radiology, acute care, ED, perioperative, or interventional experience highly regarded)

  • Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team

  • Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Friendly, caring and compassionate nature with the ability to work collaboratively within a team

  • Critical thinker
