John is a highly skilled clinician with exceptional leadership and operational management experience which includes over 25+ years’ experience working as an emergency clinician in a variety of roles both locally and internationally.
Jenna Degan

Founding Director | Business Development & Administrative Support

Jenna has an extensive background in community care, customer service and administration. Jenna has also held senior leadership roles in the private sector helping with business growth and ensuring quality and standards were met. Jenna is passionate about travel and giving back to communities in need.
Jeff Menkens

Founding Director | Registered Nurse | Endorsed Emergency Nurse Practitioner
Jeff has worked primarily in emergency care for the last 24 years, as well as roles in remote, isolated care and in the private sector. Jeff enjoys the dynamic challenge of emergency care practice and the ever-evolving opportunities that the Nurse Practitioner role presents.

Project Hiu aims to assist coastal communities made vulnerable through climate change, overfishing and exploitation by providing alternative economic development and sustainable incomes for the benefit of the people of these communities.
